The spring breeze makes the uneasy sound as my dreams crumble and my future brakes. I have no more... I want to be with you more. I want to be near you. I try to hide my weak tears behind a smile, but I can't hide anymore. My years of dreaming, at the end, will my true self be there I tried too hard to bear with it. I even put out my hand. But what it all comes down to was now; we are in hell under his control. So this is the end I tell you. Lights will be turned off and the stage will turn to darkness. Let me hear your voice more, I still want to be here. Goodbye to an anonymous girl I loved from my heart. I remember the promise we made, by the spring breeze I felt in my back. My tears mix with blood, and it brings to life my new dream in my heart. Until our voices go out, at last. Lets sing until our voices go out.

Why & Origins
To try to answer all these questions and clarify a bit what Visual Kei is I'm going to write a series of articles about different aspects of Visual Kei. I have written these articles with the information I've read, see or listen in the web along all my years as VK fan. So the articles shows my conclusions and opinions. To fully understand the articles you should have some general knowledge of western rock, metal music.
Origins
At the end of the 70's, with the boom of glam metal, a group of Japanese designers open a boutique called Visual Scandal. These guys adopted the glam fashion, at the beginning they focus on clothes, wearing extravagant outfits, and later on they started to create their own make up designs.
In 1979 they formed a music group, also called Visual Scandal. They called their own style 'Beautiful Elegance', but then, in 1980 other bands with similar looks and influences start to used the term Visual to identified themselves, as Murbas which motto was 'Visual Violence'.
Drain Away
I reminisce under the late afternoon sky of the pressed flowers I miss so dearly. Back then, I counted down the days with my fingers to the day I would see you. The sky was blue, the good old days when my dreams were shattered. It brings sadness and sorrow. The sin is endless. Not a single sound to be heard. Tonight it is spring. One cold evening I saw her as she stood under the cherry blossom tree, with petals that bloomed too early. This story goes way back. She was beautiful and pretty but there was something about her. She had a very sad face. Her long hair hid her tears of late afternoon. Through the forgotten seasons, this place still reminds me of her. Time has made her disappear, as she was so delicate with her black and white scar. The sky was blue, the good old days when my dreams were shattered. The sin is too deep to bear, as I hear the sound of darkness. Tonight it is spring. The show booth. It was a cold late afternoon and I remember seeing her being colored by people. She couldn't do anything but cry as her tears bloomed like the petals. I reminisce under the late afternoon sky of the pressed flowers I miss so dearly. Back then, I counted down the days with my fingers to the day I would see you. The late afternoon sky lights the shed. The cherry blossom tree grew in back of it. And underneath the tree, she lies hiding her scar with the sleeve of her shirt hoping it would disappear just for that moment. The sky was blue, the good old days when my dreams were shattered. It brings sadness and sorrow. The sin is endless. Not a single sound to be heard. Tonight it is spring.

R to the core
You're the one that's stupid. You're a pig; acting all honest but you hide your true self. Can't hear anything, Can't feel anything. This is a place of contradiction. My heart screamed out, you make fun of me like you make fun of my deaf left ear. I know everyone isn't like that, but I can't accept everything. So I still, even now scream out in a hoarse voice to all you rotten people... There is an answer, so writhe in agony and let your will to live come out. Everyone's the same once they sin.
